Officer Safety
Life-saving equipment for the officers who protect Caledonia
Caledonia police officers answer calls across more than 45 square miles of northeastern Racine County — from lakefront neighborhoods to busy I-94 corridors. Every traffic stop, welfare check, and emergency response carries risk, and the right equipment can make the difference between a close call and a tragedy.
The Caledonia Police Foundation raises funds for protective equipment that falls outside the department's regular budget, so officers are never asked to do a dangerous job without the best available tools.
What We Fund
- Ballistic vests, plates, and helmets that meet current protection standards
- Tactical ballistic shields for high-risk responses
- Trauma and first-aid kits for every squad car
- Scene lighting, traffic-safety gear, and visibility equipment for roadside stops
Make It Possible
Funding protective equipment and tools that help every Caledonia officer make it home safely at the end of their shift.
